Positive social interaction is a crucial facet in maintaining harmonious state among multicultural society Malaysia. There no doubt that Malaysians play an important role reducing conflict ethnics, fostering unity their own ethnicity and others as well. Understanding accepting the differences are vitals intercultural integration process. Huge responsibility being placed on universities to ensure cultivation of multiracial students. Thus, it has become task for educate students be interculturally competent. Individuals with communication competence possess high consciousness about themselves desire learn much possible individuals who speak different language have values habits. Hence, importance undergraduates cannot, should not undermined. Incorporated by Anxiety/uncertainty management (AUM) theory, present study intends investigate impact three factors, anxiety, uncertainty, ethnocentrism which could possibly hamper attainment competence. Data collected from 457 respondents were analysed using SPSS software online survey design. The revealed moderate negative correlation between all independent variables dependent variables.
